Why does Fi require a membership?
The membership covers the cellular network connectivity (LTE-M) the collar uses to report your dog’s location, plus ongoing app development, server costs, and customer support. Without a membership, the cellular GPS does not function.
Can I pay monthly, or only annually?
Both. You can choose a month-to-month membership or a longer prepaid term that lowers the effective monthly cost. The exact term options are shown at checkout.
Is there a free trial of the membership?
Promotional free trials and discounts are offered from time to time. Any active offer will appear during checkout — check the membership page or your cart for current promotions.
How do I cancel my Fi membership?
You can manage or cancel your Fi membership from the Fi app under account settings or by contacting Fi support. Cancellation stops future billing; refund and proration terms depend on the plan you originally chose.
Are membership fees refundable?

What happens to my collar if my membership lapses?
If your membership lapses, the cellular GPS connection stops, so the collar can no longer report live location to the app. Reactivating the membership restores tracking.

Yes. Each Fi collar requires its own active membership, since each collar uses its own cellular connection. You can manage multiple memberships under one Fi account.
Is there a multi-pet discount?
